Animal OrdinanceThe City of Ray has adopted a strict ordinance regarding pets within the city limits. Please abide by the laws governing your pet. We know you love your pet and consider it part of your family. Please be considerate of your neighbors and abide by the rules set forth by the Ray City Commission to make everyone's pet experiences pleasant.

The Animal Ordinance can be viewed under the City Ordinances section under "Animal Control".

All Pet Licenses expire April 30th and new Licenses must be purchased May 1st.  Licenses are delinquent starting June 1st and a penalty of $25 per month each month the pet license is delinquent after June 1st.

All pets must be vaccinated and a copy of your pet's vaccination record is required to be filed with the city before you receive your license. All license fees are $5.00 per year per animal.
